Overall
Overall I am pleased with the outcome of the project, I like how the photograph's have turned out and feel that the pieces I made have represented my proposal well however I feel that I could have pushed my ideas further to make pieces that aren't as safe and that were more attention grabbing so that they definitely raised a question on wearability. I am pleased with the outcome of the photographs and enjoyed styling and directing the photo shoot and would like continue with theme of fashion and wearability.
Photographs
These are some of the photographs I took of the pieces, I wanted to experiment with white piece on a white background and the black piece on a black background but I also swapped them over to see if that add anything although I am pleased with outcome/s from the shoot I feel the pics that are all in the same colour work better and so I have decided to choose both pictures on the left hand side to present as my final pieces.
Final pieces
The above pictures are of the final pieces I have made, the piece on the left was made using laser cut triangles that articulated and moved with the body to fit. The piece on the right was also made using laser cut triangles but they were sanded to an angle so they fit together as pyramids and they were joined together in the same way as the piece on the left so that it would fit without any fastenings. I'm happy with the idea and the look of the pieces as well as the fact both pieces aren't particularly comfortable or practical and look good but I feel the finish could have been more refined. I have decided to photograph the pieces and for the photographs to be the final piece as I feel that the items relation to the body and they're wear ability is what is more important. During my tutorial it was suggested that I should go with a monochrome theme for the photographs in keeping with both pieces, so I decided to photograph the piece on the right on a white background and the piece on the left on a black background.

Further Experiments - Design Ideas
Although I thought my original design idea would be do-able i ran into a few problems with the realisation and so revised my idea and experimented with using tetrahedrons and then joining them together, as acrylic sheet isn't flat I had to work out the angle I needed to sand the edges to, so that all the edges were flush.
On the Catwalk
Issey Miyake is known for pushing the boundaries of fashion and produces pieces that are arguably unwearable and impractical but has managed to sustain a fashion career producing pieces that are sculptural and they make for very theatrical and interesting catwalk shows.
Jean Paul Gautier work is very theatrical his haute couture collections are described as unsual and playful yet formal.
